Samantha Sassone

Clinical Director, DNP, AGPCNP-C, LMT

Samantha graduated from Duke University with a Doctor of Nursing and earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degrees from Keuka College. Samantha is also an Assistant Professor of Nursing at LeMoyne College, where she teaches Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Advanced Physical Assessment. She has a wealth of experience working as a registered nurse at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the Medical ICU and Palliative Care Units, along with teaching clinical rotations in Cardiology and Trauma units, and has traveled to five continents caring for patients.

As a provider, she started in facial plastic reconstructive surgery and ENT before joining the Vitalize Medical and Aesthetics team. Samantha is our provider for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Cosmetic Injections, Semaglutide/HCG, and IV Hydration/Vitamin Therapy. Samantha has taken over 60 hours of continuing education credits for advanced management of bioidentical hormone management and has advanced training in managing complex metabolic syndromes, including obesity. Samantha is VMA’s Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in deep tissue and sports injury, with over 20 years of experience.

She lives in Shortsville, NY, with her husband, Mike, and two children, Alex and Leo. In her free time, Samantha volunteers for Global Volunteers, leading international service-learning trips for students who provide medical care in impoverished communities and Fairy Godmothers of Rochester. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and Sunday football with her family. Her next trip is to Peru as a volunteer nurse.

With 15 years of nursing experience and spa experience, Samantha brings an extraordinary wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She is dedicated to ensuring outstanding support for her clinical staff and delivering top-notch care and quality for her patients. Her family, patients, and love of learning inspire her every day.

Rachel Gianni

DC

Dr. Rachel Gianni received her bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher College in 2008. She obtained her doctorate in 2011 from New York Chiropractic College. In 2014, she was certified by the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Manipulation under Anesthesia, subsequently becoming Program Director with privileges at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Western New York. She is certified by the Surgery Center Academy in Ambulatory Healthcare Strategies. Dr. Gianni is also accredited by the American Association of Sensory Electro-diagnostic Medicine in Pain Fiber Nerve Conduction Study and is proficient in the utilization of pf-NCS EDX analysis, diagnostic correlation, and interpretation.

Rachel won the Democrat and Chronicle Community Choice Award for Best Chiropractor in 2022 at Boev Clinic Spine and Pain Center. Dr. Rachel Gianni specializes in providing individualized treatments for her patients based on their unique medical history, primary concerns, and comfort levels. Her main goals are to eliminate pain, improve function, and increase their overall health.

Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, doing yoga, shopping, listening to music, and traveling to faraway destinations, especially Aruba.

Brittany Hart

Brittany attended St John Fisher University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019. She has a background working at Strong Memorial Hospital on the Burn Trauma Step Down unit since 2020. Due to her experience in a hospital setting, she has vast knowledge that can extend to our patients not only on the clinical side but also with her compassion and drive to provide exceptional medical attention and care. She is also a licensed nail technician and esthetician specializing in bridal makeup.

Brittany resides in Rochester, NY, with her fiancé and son, Leo. In Brittany’s free time, she loves spending time with her son, spending time outdoors, and traveling, preferably beachside. Brittany is driven to help people become the best version of themselves. This led her to join Vitalize Medical and Aesthetics – helping clients internally and externally feel their best.

Lacy Bauer

Lacy attended the SUNY Brockport and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has a background in nurse care management and pre- and post-anesthesia with extensive experience with IVs. Her ultimate goal of helping others look and feel their best while building a rapport with patients is what led her to Vitalize Medical and Aesthetics. Her specialty is in IV Hydration/Vitamin Therapy and Weight Loss Management.

Lacy resides in Webster, NY, with her significant other, Adam. Lacy enjoys traveling in her free time, spending time on the water, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
